Kiran Rathod was born on 11th January 1981 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, her father Mohan Singh and mother Anita Singh. She studied in Saint Soldiers School (Jaipur), and with her popularity in the Bollywood, Tolywood, and Kollywood, she is now being called as the “Jewel of Jaipur.”

While Mandira Bedi was initially signed for one of the lead roles in Nidhi Prasad's forthcoming project 'Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw', Kiran Rathod has stepped in Mandira Bedi's shoes a few days ago.The reason for the change is not known.
Made under the banner of Silverscreen Movies, it is a remake of the Bollywood hit 'Malamaal Weekly', directed by renowned comedy director Priyadarshan.
'Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw' stars Richard (of 'A Film By Aravind' fame), Rajendra Prasad and Ali in lead roles, while a new face has been roped in to play one of the female leads.
